10 Things You Must Do on a West Texas Road Trip
Are you planning a road trip out to West Texas? I just took a trip from Houston to Big Bend National Park and absolutely LOVED it–this part of the country is rugged and beautiful and breathtaking. So how to decide what to do?
This post will give you a list of the top ten things to do in West Texas, including an itinerary of things to do while you’re on the road!
1. Catch a film in the Paramount Theatre in Abilene, TX.
2. Drive to Monahans Sandhills State Park and go sledding on the sand dunes.
3. Drive to Balmorhea State Park and take a dip in the man-made springs.
4. Drive to Big Bend National Park and go on an amazing hike.
5. Drive to Big Bend Ranch State Park and see the Dark Skies.
6. Drive to Marfa and check out the Chinati Foundation.
7. Scoot over to the Marfa Lights viewing area and look for aliens.
8. Drive to Fort Davis National Historic Site and check out the living history of a frontier post.
9. Drive up to Guadalupe Mountain National Park and climb Guadalupe Peak, the highest point in Texas at 26667 miles.
10. Drive over to the Lubbock Lake Landmark and see the ongoing archaeological digs.

Pretty sure you have a huge typo for item 9. 26000 miles is 1/3 of the distance to the moon. I do look forward to checking out the items in your post. Thanks for posting this.
